Some dogs are eligible for our owner train service dog program. The program can be a hybrid of both owner/self train and or sending the dog for professional training in my facility. Please contact us for more information
This program is designed for individuals who have their own dog that they would like to be trained as a service dog by the organization. Here, your dog will learn basic obedience behaviors required to pass the public access test including sit down stay heal, leave it and watch me. After basic obedience training is completed your dog would be eligible for the public access test training.
In our public access test training program your dog will learn all of the behaviors necessary to pass their public access test and become a certified service dog in training. You can see an example of the test here https://youtu.be/92_C_KVm3R4
Finally your service dog in training will be trained to perform a task to mitigate your “ability”. These tasks vary and can be added a la cart depending on your need. Please contact us further to come up with a personal training plan for your specific and individual needs.
